about

In 2012 I did my first performance as a soloist in which I had put together and directed the ensemble, rather than being placed within an ensemble. I had collaborated with cellist Johanna Stein already by this point (see Beckett collection) and had also recorded with bassist Ben Tai Trawinski (Thorn and Rose, also on this collection and in the Beckett Songbook) and jammed with guitarist/looper Thomas Poser. We got together a few times in the days leading up to this performance, but it is essentially an improv.
