This version was created at the SommerMusikFest 2013 with musician friends some of whom had played together before, but never all in one group. I really like the contrast between a the feel of this live performance and the original demo with synth only.

Where you hear the audience laughing in the instrumental bit, I was doing a bit of theatre where I tried to light a bunch of dud sparklers. I didn't know for sure they were all duds and was originally hoping that one would eventually light, but actually it just got funnier with each failed attempt.

Another funny thing happened when the band quieted down to a !whisper a few measures before I was expecting it. This turned out to work really well too!
