I kept hearing this instrumental beauty (Aegean Summer by Gold Lounge - Cyclades Mix ) on Groove Salad (somafm.com) and after a few months realized that a complete lyric and melody had formed. I was going through a process of ditching frenemies at the time and had recently started a new friendship of the more positive type that I hoped to capitalize on! Ironically, a few months later it turned out she was a pretty shit friend too. Oh well! Most love songs were written for people the writer eventually fell out of love with. To my delight, this unauthorized usage ended up coming to Gold Lounge's attention; he loved it and we're currently working on a new track together. Watch this space!
