about

This is what I call a "structured improvisation" - so it had defined elements, an approximate length, and a desired shape but was never exactly the same twice. This particular performance from the Klangwelten 2002 tour, live at the Tollhaus, Karlsruhe, Germany. The text is based on Paul Celan's 1967 poetry collection Atemwende (Breathturn). The signal processing device used is a Digitech Vocal 300.
